Why clients choose us
How we run a job.
Luxury finishes are table stakes. How a project is managed is what separates a renovation you enjoy from one you endure. Here's what we hold ourselves to.
Schedules that hold
A real sequence, not a hopeful one, and a weekly update on where it stands. When something shifts, you hear it from us first.
HOA, permits & inspections
Years of navigating South Florida HOAs, city permitting and inspection schedules. We handle the paperwork so the build keeps moving.
Our crew, not rotating subs
Most of the work is done in-house. Fewer handoffs means tighter quality control, fewer delays and better pricing for you.

Our signature trade
More Than a Staircase.
The Showpiece of Your Home.
It's the first thing a guest sees and the hardest element in the house to get right. Very few South Florida remodelers build them in-house. We do.
Floating and open-riser stairs on steel stringers. Solid white oak, walnut and ash treads. Frameless glass, stainless cable and hardwood railings. Cantilevered landings, hidden fixings and integrated LED tread lighting — engineered to Florida code and laser-measured on site before anything is cut.

How a project runs
Four stages. No surprises.
- 01
Consultation & measure
Gerry walks the space with you, takes real measurements and talks through what's structurally possible before anyone quotes a number.
- 02
Fixed, itemized proposal
Line-by-line scope, material selections and a dated sequence. You approve it before we order a thing.
- 03
Permits & the build
We pull permits, coordinate HOA approvals and run the build with our own crew — protected floors, weekly updates, inspections booked ahead.
- 04
Walk-through & handover
We work the punch list to zero, clean the space properly, and hand back a finished home — not a nearly-finished one.

The guys at AE Building Design just finished my dream kitchen. After another contractor's work was not up to par, we were referred to AE through a friend. They turned the project around and gave us the dream kitchen I had envisioned. I can't thank them enough.

AE Building Design did a great job on my project — a wood half-moon step-down stair. The owner came to the house and developed a creative way to solve it.

They did an amazing job with my kitchen remodel. I am very nitpicky and they had no problem accommodating my needs. It went from a madhouse to a beautiful kitchen and I couldn't be more satisfied!
